Vaseline Lip Therapy Advanced Formula: Review

Vaseline Lip Therapy Advanced Formula: Review

I'm a type of person who's not that crazy about lipsticks (booooo!!!). I do wear lipstick but not that often. I usually apply them once and then I wouldn't do a retouch afterwards. Most of the time I do have a cracked lips (maybe not drinking too much water, idk). This lip balm/lip gel caught my eye. It has this simple packaging saying "Lip Therapy Advanced Formula" and why not try it.

Price:

I don't remember the exact price but it runs around 100-150 (sorry for the huge price range).

Color and Consistency:

Transparent, gel form

Scent:

It has this fresh floral and medicinal smell! I like it! <3 <3 <3

I put this on whenever I fell like I need more moisture to my lips. To tell you guys, it does wonders! First time I put it on it felt like a normal lip balm after an hour or two i noticed that my lips were peeling. I didn't feel any stinging sensation or something like that instead it's peeling the dead skin of my lips effortlessly! It leaves my lips smooth and plumpy.

 What I like:

- It gave me the smooth looking lips that I really       wanted.
- I love the smell.
- I like how it feels when I put it on ( it feels so moisturizing).

What I dislike:

- I'm not a fan of its packaging coz it comes with a round spout. I prefer the slant head so that I can spread the product easily but that's not a big deal for me.
- it doesn't have spf on it.

Verdict:

I give this product 4 out of 5 stars. It's best for moisturizing your lips. I recommend you to use this at night when your lips need to have that deep moisture. Since it doesn't have any spf on it you might want to put this first to prep your lips and apply your favorite lipstick (with spf), it will give you a great canvas so that you can apply your lipstick smoothly.

Revlon Photo Ready Color Correcting Primer: Review

Review: Revlon Photo Ready Color Correcting Primer

This is a review to my first primer. :) I've read and watched a couple of videos of make up tutorials and primer is like the number step to prep up their skin. Personally I don't use primer coz I'm used to slapping all the products on my face and I'm good to go (LOL). As I mentioned on my previous blog that I have a very oily skin. My number one problem is my make up won't last a whole day. I would be very happy if it's still perfect and intact after 3-4 hours. So i decided I need to use a good primer! (I'm pretty sure this primer would last me forever because I don't wear foundation or full-face make up everyday.)
I purchased this primer together with the Clinique Dramatically Different Gel. So what I did is that I used the gel and this primer together. After the end of the night I had break outs. I kept using the moisturizer (clinique) and I'm pretty sure that the moisturizer is the reason for those horrible little bumps on my face. Tomorrow, I will try to use the primer again and I will update you guys if how it went.

Price:

As far as I remembered I got it from Watsons around 700 pesos.

What it claims to do:

Lightweight primer smooths skin while evening out skin tone with color correcting pigments that neutralize redness and uneven color. Wear alone or under foundation.
Color and consistency: pearl pink/ faded pink, silky texture.

Scent:

I really like the scent of this primer reminds me of flowers! For those of you guys who are not fund of products that have fragrance I think this will not bother you because the scent is not that strong. *wink

Verdict:

This post is not yet finalized (sorry for that)
I'll be using the primer for the rest of the weekend and we'll see. I hope it works well because I saw a lot of reviews about it and not to mention GOOD ONES! Stay tuned guys! xoxo

Review: Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel

Hi everyone! Thank you for checking my site. This is the first time that I'm doing a review for a skin care product and watch out for more posts! :) These are my personal opinion and experiences with the products. It may work for you but not for me or other way around. So let's get started!

Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel: Review

Skin background: I have a very oily, senstive, acne-prone skin. ( it sucks, i knowwww)

Since then I was on a look out for a very good daily moisturizer. Most of the times I use the lotion type and I noticed it made me more oily.
One day when I went to the mall I passed by Rustans. I don't usually go there because the stalls located there are for those pricey and fancy skin care products.
I don't usually buy a skin care product if I haven't researched about it. So yeah I saw the Clinique moisturizing in gel form (they also have the lotion type). I picked this because it's intended for oily skin.

( Got this photo from google. I took some snap from my phone but the quality is crappy. I'll be using a better camera next time. This photo pretty much the same as to the one I took)

Price: 880 Pesos ( pretty pricey for a drugstore moisturizer)

Packaging:
I got mine in a tube. I didn't get the full size. It has a sleek matte tube with the silver cap. Really nice.

Color and Consistency:
Yellowish gel. The consistency is very smooth, it glides easily to the skin, velvety.

Scent: I'm not really a big fan of the scent. It smells like rubber and hand soap I can't even explain it.

Tried if for 6 day and my VERDICT:

I will NEVER EVER repurchase it again. It broke me out like crazyyy! Well not those cystic acne but I had pustules and blemish since I used it. I didn't change anything on my skin care routine except for this.
It's so sad because I like the feel of this moisturizer it made my make up last the whole day and keep my oily face at bay but it just broke out!

I recommend it to those with oily skin however I have a very sensitive skin. I checked a lot of good reviews about this product. Oh well! But guys you can give it a try.
